8-09 & 9-12 Series High-Pressure Centrifugal Fans with High-Efficiency Forward-Curved Impeller and Durable Galvanized Steel Casing for Iron-Melting Furnaces
This series includes two professional high-pressure centrifugal fan models designed for industrial high-pressure air supply applications:
- 8-09 Series: Specially engineered for iron-melting furnaces, perfectly matching the blowing requirements of furnaces with melting rates of 1L/h, 2L/h, 3L/h, 5L/h and 7L/h
- 9-12 Series: Versatile high-pressure fans suitable for various melting furnaces, forging furnaces and general industrial high-pressure ventilation
Both series are designed to convey air and non-corrosive, non-self-igniting gases free of viscous substances. The medium temperature must not exceed 80°C, and the concentration of dust and hard fine particles in the gas should be no more than 150 mg/m³. All models feature single-inlet configuration with reliable direct drive options.
- High-Efficiency Forward-Curved Impeller: Blade profile designed based on advanced high-efficiency forward-curved fan theory. All impellers undergo strict static and dynamic balancing corrections. Ensures smooth, vibration-free operation with excellent pressure performance.
- Durable Galvanized Steel Casing: Integral snail-shaped casing welded from high-quality galvanized steel sheets. Provides superior corrosion resistance and structural strength. Precision manufacturing ensures excellent air tightness and minimal leakage.
- Optimized Convergent Streamlined Air Inlet: Integrated convergent streamlined structure for maximum airflow efficiency. Firmly fixed to the front cover plate with bolts for stable connection. Minimizes inlet resistance and improves overall fan efficiency.
- Reliable Transmission Assembly: Main shaft made of high-quality steel for long service life. Two lubrication options available: grease lubrication for 8-09 №7.1D and №8D models; oil lubrication for 8-09 №8.5D, №9D and all 9-12 series models. Integral bearing housing design for enhanced stability and easy maintenance.
- Complete Sealing & Base System: Equipped with professional sealing components to prevent air leakage. Robust base frame ensures stable installation and operation. Strictly controlled impeller inlet sealing clearance for optimal performance.

Note: All parameters are based on standard conditions (air temperature 20 °C, atmospheric pressure 101300 Pa, air density 1.2 kg/m³). Performance conversion is required for non-standard working conditions.
- Rotation Direction:
- Clockwise (CW): Impeller rotates clockwise when viewed from the motor end
- Counterclockwise (CCW): Impeller rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the motor end
- Air Outlet Angle: 0°, 90°, 180° (available for both rotation directions)
- Transmission Methods:
- Type A: Direct drive (impeller directly mounted on motor shaft)
- Type D: Coupling drive (rigid coupling connection for high transmission efficiency)

- Thoroughly inspect all fan components for damage or defects
- Verify that all parts are complete and in good condition
- Repair or replace any damaged components before installation
- Ensure the main shaft horizontal level meets the standard of 0.20 mm per 1000 mm
- Strictly control the impeller inlet sealing clearance:
- 8-09 №7.1 and №8: 1.0 ~ 1.5 mm
- 8-09 №8.5, №9 and 9-12 №8, №9: 1.5 ~ 2.0 mm
- Ensure proper alignment between motor and fan shafts for coupling drive models
- Close inlet or outlet dampers before starting to ensure no-load startup
- Gradually open dampers after reaching normal operating speed
- Strictly monitor motor current to prevent overload
- After 20 minutes of operation, check bearing housing temperature:
- Temperature rise must not exceed 40°C above ambient temperature
- Surface temperature must not exceed 70°C
- Check for any abnormal noise or vibration during operation
- Type A Drive: 1* complete fan unit, 1* matching three-phase asynchronous motor, 1 set of anchor bolts, installation and operation manual
- Type D Drive: 1* complete fan unit, 1* matching three-phase asynchronous motor, 1 set of coupling components, 1 set of anchor bolts, installation and operation manual
